Robert Clarkson
Robert qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1980 and joined Percy Pemberton and Company, a two partner practice of chartered accountants operating from the centre of Leeds. After listening to Christian leaders in Bradford it became clear that there was a need for an experienced Christian Accountant to provide services to charities and churches in the local area and beyond. As a result, Clarkson and Company was established in April 2002. Robert has a wide range of experience in general practice as well as specialising in the affairs of charities and churches. Robert enjoys working on a one-to-one basis with clients ensuring that they get the best possible service and encouragement to grow their business. One advantage of being a sole practitioner is that Robert has an all-round understanding of clients, business and tax situations and is therefore in an ideal position to offer the best advice. Jane Latz
Jane is Robert's personal assistant and has been with the firm since its formation. She likes to build up a relationship with clients and is usually the first point of contact. She also manages the day to day running of the office. Her contact details are:
Gillian Clarkson
Gillian is Robert's wife and is manager of the payroll section. Gillian joined us in 2003 and currently works 3 days a week for the practice. In addition to dealing with the monthly salaries she also prepares quarterly VAT returns for clients and helps with training in Sage for clients. Her contact details are:
David Stobart
David joined us in May 2011 and brought with him a wealth of experience. David has over 40 years experience in the preparation of accounts for companies of all sizes, for both statutory and management purposes. He also has a full working knowledge of Sage and has been trained by Sage. His contact details are:
Fengzhi Ye
Fengzhi joined us in July 2011. She has a Bachelor Degree in International Economics and Trading obtained in China. She came across to the UK in 2007 and is currently studying for her ACCA qualification. Fengzhi's main responsibilities centre around payroll, accounts preparation and VAT returns. Amie Hustler
Amie originally joined us straight from school in 2005 and then left to gain experience in the commercial sector and at other firms of accountants during which time she qualified as an accounting technician. She rejoined us in June 2009 and registered under a three year training contract to train as a chartered accountant. Her main area of responsibility is involved in accounts production and she is also trained in Sage. Her contact details are:
